Forum Title: Plywood over Thinset?
hey guys, Removed tile and backer board in a new house in the kitchen. I?m left with Thinset on the plywood subfloor. I?ve scraped it as much as a can and it?s still there but very thin layer. I?m installing laminate in the whole house and to match the level of the rest of the house so there are no transitions I need to lay 1/2 ply in the kitchen on top of the subfloor. Will this be ok to just lay the plywood on top of this and use adhesive and screws? Is plywood or osb better for this? Thanks for the help.

Why dont you just pour a 1/2 of SLC on the concrete ?
